Best Time of Day to Play 45|45

This is very interesting. I have also had great difficulty getting any 45/45 games.

If it is possible to know if there is a “popular” time for this time control, I would be excited to learn about it.

Hi, I've noticed that seeks after 10:30 pm PT for 30|30 Rated unlimited & 25+ are usually matched in less than 1 minute (I'm under 1000 elo though so that may be a factor).  It may work for your time control as well.

Also, it may help if you added some type of pfp that catches the eye?

I have a similar question about 10+5 or 10+10. Since they're not default options (only available under "custom"), I know they're not commonly played time controls. But I'd love to see stats on what time of day I'm more likely to get a match. (Most times I try, it just endlessly seeks without matching.)

Perhaps you could start a different thread to bring more awareness to these topics, also as those time formats are a bit different.

I sometimes enjoy playing 15+0 on chess tempo which should be about the same amount of time as 10 + 5 . I can get a game quite quickly too.

This doesn’t work as well for slow games on that site as fewer people are on it and I keep getting matched against the same players (which obviously isn’t the reason why my standard rating there is 2100 instead of 14/1500 like on chess.com).

chesstempo might help with the ego though so I can’t complain.
