I find blitz to be a happy medium. Lightning is almost impossible for me, and 3-minute is quite tough. I love long time controls in OTB tournaments, but they are quite boring for me online.
Correspondence is probably my favorite.

Dude you're like 500 points above average blitz rating here. Just be thankful you can actually play blitz here. This dumb app keeps booting me off causing my Blitz and standard ratings to plummet lately.
