I suggest the opposite because you have to move your finger short distances. While on the computer you have to click. You might have a touch screen though. I play on the IPad which is the perfects balance for me but a phone can work too.

The thing is I slip a lot when making a move. Or sometimes it doesn't read my finger by pressing the screen.

Example I wanted to take pawn with my queen and put them in check but using the phone it's that and only went as far as I moved it to on my last move so I had to resign.
I suggest not using your iPhone for bullet chess although I have won a few but it is very difficult.
