change Browser

from reading stuff about Live Chess, I see that Internet Explorer is one browser that is NOT supposed to be used (or perhaps simply is not supported by the software).  Anyway, anyone know how I can change from Explorer to a browser that will permit L.C. to work?   (I wish to retain the services of Explorer also, if that is possible.

Hi Jerry, I too had to recently switch browsers so I could start playing Live Chess.  Internet Explorer kept needing to reconnect, so I tried Firefox first, and though I could get into Live Chess, my connection speed bar was still red for high lag.  Then I tried Google Chrome and now it is usually green (no or low lag).

When installing there will be an option to make Chrome your default browser, just uncheck that or click no (I forget which way it comes up) and then Internet Explorer will still be your main browser.  Just go to Chrome when you want to play chess!  I hope that helps!

I can't get why one should prefer Internet Sexploiter over Firefox, Chrome or Opera. All three of them are way superior under any aspect.

LOL  Sexploiter??  :):)  Never heard that expression before.  Why use it?  the answer is "Because we/I do not know better?  I am old (not young and good looking as you):):)    See my white hair?   :):)  I will however take Menmow's suggestion and give Chrom a try.  Thanks gents.  If I see you on Live chess I'll give you a good "whuppin ".

Well, I'd like to have that beard you have.  I have baby whiskers.  HEY Menamow, your suggestion worked!!  Thanks.  Now I'm off to happily play Live chess.  That is, until they kick me off for cheating (I got a flag for winning too many games - they assigned me a rating of 1200 and I am actually 1900 +.  so, win win win is what happened and now I'm flagged.  Sheesh!!
