Is the chess game server down every time I’ve sent out game requests keep getting not available.

I normally play Rapid/30 minutes every day, sometimes 2 or 3 games, and it is rare not to find an opponent immediately. But for the last 2 days there has been noone...the 'Starting soon' faces just keep coming and nothing happens. I've taken to lichess, but I prefer chess.com.
