You can turn confirm move on if you want. It is in your Live settings.
Confirm moves in live chess.

Which version of the site are you on? You may need to get out of Live and reenter after configuring it.
I never turn that setting on in Live, as a time scramble is hard enough, so I have never tested it

Thank you again Martin for your help. I am on the latest version of chess.com. Not the old site. I turned it on and saved settings. Logged out and logged back on. Still no luck. I turned it off again left site. went back on and still no luck. I turned it back on and left site. Went back to site and still no luck:-(

It is possible that it is bugged or hasn't been fully implemented.
You might submit a bug report. Either use the bug icon, while on the setting screen I guess, or open a regular ticket and choose the appropriate area from the drop-down.

I have done it in my other account but I can't do it in this account

Hello everyone. This might be a dumb question but it bothers me when I play live chess and do not have the ability to confirm a move before it is set in stone. I play a lot of daily 24-hour per move which you have to confirm your move by pressing the check box (confirm) or x-box(no move). When I started playing 30 minute games my finger occasionally slips off the mouse while making a move and it ends up being a bad move. I get so my at myself when it happens because it causes me to lose a piece. For example: I was moving a rook over to be in front of my other rook but my finger slip off the mouse button one square before the actual square I was moving to and I lost a rook. I would not have made that mistake if I could have confirm the move. Is there a way I can set confirm move before I make more mistakes like the rook example? Please help. Thank you in advance.
