Connection problem

After getting my account logged in, I cannot play due to the connection problem. At first I thought that the problem is in the internet. But One of my friend sitting with another compurter just adjacent to mine does not face such problem. I also thought that there might have disconnection in the cable. But I also checked. You know that I have been with live chess for many days. I never faced such a problem. Please do something to keep me out of this problem.

I'm also having a connection issue.  I was playing yesterday before work with no problems and when I came home I could not play.

I'm using simple chess.  It looks like the board is loading but a window keeps popping up saying connection interrupted then it appears to try again and then the connection interrupted window pops up again.  It's stuck in this loop.

I'm using Linux FC9 & Firefox 3.0.11

I tried the site with my iMac and Firefox on my same home network and it works fine. I have to head to work so I don't have any more time to experiment.  If anyone else is having a similar problem and finds a fix, please let me know.

Thanks,

John

Did Chess.com make a change yesterday that made the simple chess stop working un the older firefox yesterday?

This is not an option without buying a new(er) computer, which I'm not about to do just to play chess. The newer version of live chess is for tweaking so that folks with more up to date systems can have their fun. The older version is for leaving alone so us old fuddy-duddies with our antiques can still play. (So much for considering a paid membership!)

Fix the bug. It worked before.

If you're still having problems, can you please update your Firefox browsers to the latest version 3.6.13

In Firefox web browser, top row it shows

File - Edit - View - History - Bookmarks - Help

If you click on Help,  then on  "About Mozilla Firefox"  a small box appears. Top text says

Firefox

version .....  (whatever yours is)

The latest version is 3.6.13

By clicking back on the Help  then on Check for Updates, you can update your firefox browser.
