Could we have some explanation for the changes in the live chess GUI?

May I know what happened to the 'Settings' Tab ? ... We can't resize the Boards anymore ? ... My Board is so gigantic,I can't see my and my Opponent's Clock !
I am curious about the changes in live chess. I very much prefer the seek graph, as opposed to the blind pairing system. We may choose who we want to play in online chess -- why has the option been taken away in live chess?
