I don't know where you read that, but your ISP is going to affect your connection quality a lot more than anything chess.com can do. I'm a freeloader and I don't have any problems.
Did i get shafted ?
paying members do not receive ads on the pages (minus the homepage on certain days), so that should speed up your connection to the site a little bit. i know that this is stated as one of the reasons to become a paying member, so this might be what you were thinking of.
i'm fairly certain that chess.com cannot and does not advertise that paying customers will never get disconnected or never have interruptions. as default_shepard stated above, your ISP can easily have connection issues that chess.com is not responsible for.
and as for my personal experience, i rarely if ever have disconnection issues. it does happen though on occasion. are you using the firefox browser (which is the recommended browser for this site)?
I thought i'd read somewhere that by becoming a subscriber to chess.com i would get better connection and un-interupted games.
Now that i've paid the money for a full membership i still experience connection problems and get cut off in the middle of play.
Did i miss read something or did i i just get shafted ?
Does any one else experience similar problems ?
Is there a way for un-interupted games on line ? And if yes, how ?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
