A few weeks ago, I played very calmly in 1200 elo Blitz. My opponents felt weak, and I got a lot of wins. I felt like I could climb to 1300 or 1400 elo. That has changed. Recently, I got hit with stronger opponents than I've ever had before, and it increased as I went down to almost 1000 elo. How is it that possible that my opponents are getting better when my elo is getting lower?

Well, you resigned your last game in a position where you had a slight advantage.

Please explain.

Not this game in particular. But I remember what happened here, I thought my queen was unguarded. That was just one of many stupid games I played.
