Okay, now I see the point of giving the win to the opponent in case you (got) disconnected: it's to prevent the player, who is losing, from disconnecting. However, in my last game, as of this writing, I wasn't losing. But, still, chess.com life goes on...

Is Internet speed the reason why I get disconnected during a live game? If yes, then why? I know that others with very fast Internet have complaining about lag, time increment or something. I've lost quite a number of games in my previous account because of disconnection. Also, it seems unfair to reward the win to my adversary because of it. Whatever, chess life goes on...
