Does lag affect bullet games?

Ok... so i played 1 minute bullet games on a fast computer and with a good internet connection on my friends computer. I was 100 wins and 14 losses and I was usually around the 2150 bullet rated mark.

And today i made a new account (A_Random_Canadian) and i'm playing on my computer which is slower acer aspire 6920 laptop which is about 7 years old and i'm playing on the same internet speed as my friends.

However things are alot harder for me on my laptop when i play bullet games. I Won 10 and lost 4 (at the time of this post) and I lost 4 times to 1600 players because of horrible lag that i cannot explain.

I played and lost 4 times to under 1700 rated players but for some reason the lag makes it feel like there much stronger than there actual rating ...for example i would premove everymove against my opponents and i would be down 5 seconds or more and I would blunder because of time pressure and the lag involved..why does a 1500 play like 2000+ in 1 minute bullet games when he/she has bad lag? it's weird how lag can affect your game and how you can lose to much lower rated opponents becuase of it?

Another example was i played an opponent rated around the 2200 mark. I played him and won the first 3 games either by checkmate or he resigned....I had no lag whatsoever. And then he went away for a bit ....then challenged me again i accepted .....we then played again and this time he had some pretty bad lag and i lost horribly 4 times in a row ..i asked him why he lagged so bad he said he switched computers...

Why are you asking a question that you yourself already have the answer to it ...........mmmm
