960 is under progress, I was told. I totally agree with all your suggestions. Then Live'd be more fun!
Does Live Chess deserve upgrades?
how about having separate sections in live chess where the players must play specific openings, for example in one section players are required to play king's gambit, another section where players are required to play sicilian defense and so forth.
You mean like thematic matches? Where the starting position is after the opening moves of, say, the Reti?
Bug houe is 4 players....two teams....one player is white, one player is black.
When your team mate captures an opponents piece they give it to you...you can take your turn and either move a piece or drop a piece given to you on the board. The only thing is you cannot capture a piece with a dropped piece and I don't think you can drop Checkmate.
It's incredibly fun.
I know that 960 live is definitely on it's way, I've had that confirmed, but staff won't tell me when it's going to be out there, unfortunately.
Hello guys,
I guess that this topic has probably been considered many times before, but I'm writing this anyway... Do you think that Live Chess is fine as it is, or should it be improved so that some of the features of online chess could be used on live games?
These are my main ideas:
1. I know many others have wanted this: 960 ON LIVE CHESS.
2. Perhaps LIVE CHESS GROUPS/TEAMS could be created, or existing online chess groups could be used online for LIVE CHESS TEAM MATCHES.
3. ONLINE VOTE CHESS- this builds on the idea of live groups, and time limits per move might be 20 secs/move or 1 min/move.
If anyone has anything to say to these ideas, why they wouldn't work, or maybe you have more ideas that could be added to this, any feedback is welcome!
Thanks,
