Draw by 3-Fold Repeatition in Live Chess

Is it Automatic or muz it be claimed ?

I juz played such a game with an Opponent ( Human ) :

( I'm referring to the last few moves of the game )

.. As I thot it was automatic ,I didn't click on the 'Draw' Button n' lost on time coz I thot it was automatic.

It was automatic when I played with the Computers ( which wasn't even 3-fold ... only 2 times sometimes n' sometimes it's not even the exact position but it gets automatically drawn by Repetition ie. I tried moving to a different square/position each time I check the computer ).

i dont know about playing the computer but when you play against a human opponent you must claim the draw when you are in the exactly same postion the third time (with the same person to move) press the draw button and if its really a three fold repetition you will get a draw

I juz saw this somewhere :

Threefold repetition :

"A player can claim a draw if the same position occurs three times, or will occur after their next move, with the same player to move. The repeated positions need not occur in succession." Perpetual check is included

... I didn't know that the Repeated Positions need not occur in Succession or that Perpetual Check is also included !
