Feature request: 'Take-back' feature in Live Chess

Hi, as an amateur chess enthousiast I regularly play some of my local friends through the live-chess environment. It's just for fun, rating does not concern me (please don't look Tongue out).

Once in a while me or my opponent make a terrible move, sometimes by a slip of the finger and sometimes because of stupidity whilst hastely jumping on a bus. In real life we would grant the opponent to take the move back, just for the sake of the game. On Chess.com you currently can't.

My feature request would be to add a 'Take back' function in Live Chess. If activated, both parties would have to agree to go back a move (kind of like how the 'Offer draw' option works). If more advanced players are bothered by this feature, it could also be made an checkbox (defaulting to off) on the 'Create new game' screen.

Just a thought,
FiliW

Use the 'submit' button feature. It allows you to make a move and evaluate it before you submit it, huge visual help for beginners playing on a small screen like phone or tablet..

Take back is not allowed in serious chess. So also players should not think about it. As for your cases, well you can simply resign since rating really don't bother you.

A "no vote" from me. On another site, I found it annoying when trash talkers, who were going to kick my butt later made a series of takeback requests.

I like the idea of a takeback request button, but you should only be able to press it once or twice a game. If my opponent miscalculates or plays a move that is just ignorant and loses, I'll never allow a takeback.

However, If my opponent OBVIOUISLY mouse slipped, like planning to recapture on f6 with his queen but accidentally only playing the queen to e7, I think a takeback is fair.

Besides, i'm sure chess.com could add a feature so that you could "check" a box in your settings that automatically denies all takebacks, if you're more a purist about takebacks.

Fat finger mistakes ( on touch screen) or mouse slippers are avoidable mistakes. They should be punished the same way as careless miscalculations. In chess you win when the opponent makes a mistake

Where is the submit button option? Can someone help me?
I play slow chess (15 min +) anyway - so can afford to use submit option.
