forced resignation

Hi,

This is the 2nd time the computer, or other player, forced "resignation" and their win suddenly on me. This 2nd game a new player was losing- down 22 pts. to my 1 in material, with 4 of my pieces providing checkmate. He had engaged in constant chatter with 3 requests to draw, which I declined. After "winning", he continued gloating language. It appeared that he knew how to do something with the program that I did not. Help, please!

Afraid I'm not following that at all.

[COMMENT DELETED] I was unable to input game here. Basically his king was in checkmate by my 2 bishops, knight, and queen.

Can you link to the game? I only see one game with regination in your list of games. Of which it seem like a real resignation.

Are you sure you are not losing on time? (Which is what I see you losing for)

You won by resignation, not lost...

I had over 23 minutes left. Thanks all. As you can see, I can't import the game, or even the moves easily. I have a Mac and am using Google. Any help on importing? By now, the win is credited to me. My mistake earlier, or it was reviewed and decided?

Steep learning curve;)

No, what happened was that HE (kobe3390) resigned. So you won by resignation.

And you can't just copy your game from the browser and try to paste it. Thats not how it's done. When posting, there is a board symbol to the left, just under your username. Clicking this board symbol opens the board editor which allows you to recreate your game. The best thing though in this case is to just provide a link to your game instead of trying to recreate it. When viewing your game, just copy the url and paste it into your post.

Edit: You should probably edit that post to remove the game stuff so you/we can read what we/everyone else has posted.

Edit 2: This will help you more on the board editor - http://www.chess.com/article/view/how-to-use-the-chesscom-diagr

Thanks for clarifying. I did try what you suggested with board editor, each different way. Frown Thanks for deleting gibberish.
