What is it that's taking you out of context? The logo at the top... It's probably the logo at the top. We'll de-link that, I think, ... at least for as long as there's a game going. Sorry, and thanks for raising this.
Btw, quickly force-quitting and then re-opening the app will probably get you back to your game in the meantime.
Actually... the logo at the top does *not* seem to be capable of pulling people out of a Live Chess game in progress. Can you give me more detail on how that's happening, couch3?
Sorry for the delay. Actually it's when I touch too low on my iPhone screen. It takes me to a promotional page. Another site I used to playa on always alerted to games in progress I'm surprised chess.com doesn't have that. Adam
really quite an awful UI for getting back to your IN PROGRESS GAME. god forbid on the computer i click on my opponent's profile... I was winning easily, then couldn't get back to the game in progress.
I'm having the same issues... dropped a game in progress because I clicked on notifications and then couldn't get back to the game. I also tried the Mobile App but I couldn't see my rook on the 8th file...
Like they could just add a return to game button easily but ofc they wont....
It's 2022 and this is still a bug that is still ending games on both mobile and desktop. Seven years.

Same here. Also, I lost track of the arena tournament, I was actually playing. Orientation on this site, especially in live games / live tournaments is a pain. On Lichess (sorry, guys), I can always see which tournament I joined. Lichess gives me an overview of everything and I can get back to everything easily. This site however, let's me quickly lose my way and does not offer any well-thought nagivation tool to get back to my tourney. 
Someone please tell me how to recover a live game when I mistakenly touch something on my iPhone screen that takes me out of it. This keeps happening!!
