Erm, to be strictly literal, gg means 'Good game'. How you interpret it is your own choice I guess. (Personally, I say gg after every game, win or lose, if the opponent said anything or not. *shrug*)
This topic means you have issues with losing.
"gg" is a lot better than some winners are willing to offer (eg., "YOU SUCK!").
this has nothing to do with 'handling a loss'. this is about communication between too people. i find it hard to comprehend how people can not only misunderstand the general topic, but falsly assert presumtions about me. its exactly the kind of neglection your giving someone when you say gg. dont bother to say anything else, and just say good game like you'r some kind of robot. annoyance doesnt come from losing, its from complete arrogance from ppl.

Look, if you want to see 'gg' as some sort of massive affront, go ahead. That's your preogative. But I can almost guarentee that your opponents are not intending for 'gg' to mean 'LOL I JUST @#*(#*@$& OWNED YOU YOU &U*#$@#$ING NOOOOB'. You can choose to look at it that way, your choice, but you're wrong.

I know what you mean. Yes it is rude for the winner to be the first to say gg. If the loser says gg, the winner can also say gg. Other wise the winner should SHUT THE FUCK UP

ok im just sayin here, dont mind me at all, but gg means owned. if your gona play me and not even say hello to me or anythin, and you say "gg" after you win, your basicly sayin 'hahahaha noob owned lol'. im just letin y'all know. if its a friends game or whatever obviously say whatever you want but if not, dont say gg to me. im just sayin. kthxbai :)
