No! What? What is it!? Noooooo!
I wonder if there is any possibility of getting unbanned, or if it is simply a timeout type thing.
The auto filter in Live Chess chat will mute you for 30 minutes for a first offence: if, however, it deems the words bad enough or if it's your second such offence after being muted, it will kick you out of Live Chess and stop you from returning for 30 minutes at first, with increasing intervals for consecutive offences within a given time frame (so your second one results in a 60 minute kick).
Please don't use that sort of language - if someone uses it against you, don't retaliate - follow the FAQ instructions and, if you deem it severe enough, report it.

Okey, thanks for the information!
Well, apparently the people who made this site were super awesome so they decided to implement really stupid features like banning people for saying a word, regardless of whether or not the word was even used in a rude manner. So I guess we just have to live with it.
Edit: Oh look, the OP has been edited by one of these goofballs on a power trip they call "mods" because he had the big bad words in there. OMG a kid could see it and like die. Kids hear on the news every day about suicide bombings and all the rest and you're sitting here editing out four letter words in posts like it matters. SMH.
Well we can't have people cursing like sailors on this site. It's not exactly and adult website, there are many kids on here.
So? Words in and of themselves do not hurt kids. And honestly there's something suspect about the way moderator types on internet sites tend to be really obsessed with maintaining order to an excessive level, as if they're being virtuous, when all they're interested in is the thrill of power. Whatever, that's just my thoughts, felt like getting it off my shoulders, haha. ^^
The site has rules, moderators and staff enforce the rules. If you don't like the rules, that is fine but enforcing them is just part of what they are asked to do by the site.
Oh, I know they're asked to do it by the site. I'm just saying that the rules are dumb and their enforcement carried out with unnecessary zeal. Of course it's no big deal, it doesn't really matter. Just sayin'.
It doesn't matter if you agree with swearing or not, when you created an account here you agree to the terms here: https://www.chess.com/legal where swearing is clearly prohibited.

Hello!
Eh, I was playing a guy and we both made some pretty high level blunders. After he blundered his queen, I did the same and said "Well you can have it back, [Edited for language - Mod.].". Eh, that got me instantly banned. I wonder if there is any possibility of getting unbanned, or if it is simply a timeout type thing. Please answer me. Or I will [Edited for language - Mod..
Thanks!
