How Long Will I Stay Kicked?

I know one guy got kicked off for excessive trash talking. Could that be it? He wasn't swearing but, man, was he obnoxious.

yea i got kicked for talking trash. dont know how long though.. 

I just got kicked because the guy admitted to be using a computer and i used a swear word, this is why i hate chess.com instead of automaticaly banning you they need a 'report abuse' button so they can see the quilty one.

I just got kicked. I have no idea why. I was making conversation but I don't think I was rude. The game was 30 mins so there was time to talk. Is it not allowed to chat? Why then have a chat window? Is there a list of banned words? Personally I am not in favour of banning words. Please let me back in. I love this website and I never meant to do wrong.

They have some kind of autocensor and any one of umpteen words will get you kicked.  Unless you got real colorful it's usually 4 hours for a first offense, based on previous posts.  Annoying, but not the end of the world.

does anything make sense on this website ?

First offense is usually 30 minutes I think.

I was kicked form Live Chess and I wasn't even using chat! I sent a message to the staff. This is the second time already. ???

Help?

The site tracks that stuff so staff will be able to find out pretty quickly what happened. 

Maybe reading comprehension needs to be a requirement to join chess.com.

I learned chess living on the street when I was a punk, idiot youth; so trash talk and rage are just part of the game for me. I talk a LOT of smack and my account is almost always restricted (never banned though).
Then you got suckas that time cheat and use obvious bots, but that seems to be perfectly ok...sketchy site 

To be a MOD a member had to be at least 16. Though,  I think the auto-mod is only a few years old 

you think? you have been a mod for quite some time. if you don't know, how can others rely on mods and staff to answer questions?

free accounts probably built this site. go back to that other site if you don't like it. reading posts from those around the world is something many of us like.
