How to get out of tricky position

I was playing black, and as far as material is concerned, I should be cruising.  However the white queen is threatening to mate me in a few moves following some exchanges and I have no idea how to stop it!  I had to sac my Queen for a rook and got a lucky checkmate soon after, but was wondering if there is a way to stop this from happening.  I stupidly played Rc5, my time was low, and obviously Qf6, followed.

I think the key is  to get your rook to f8.  That will give you time to use your extra piece to attack his king with your Queen.

thanks chesnov and kingwraith.  two solutions although the attacking one looks more promising

Maybe Rd8, Qf6 Rf8.......removing check mate threat, leaving black to finish off game.

Not sure Rc2 works after Kh7. Black just can move to Rd8 if the white queen moves away

1...Rc1+ 2.Kh2 Rc8 looks like an easy win for Black.

Actually 1...Rc2!? 2.Kh2 Rc8 may achieve the same position.
