How to play blitz
Could you comment on some of the moves? Tell me alittle about why you think some of the moves were played?
Wait, why is 1. Nf3 the best move? Is it because the Knight most of the time is going there anyway? But if so, why in long game GM's perfer to play d4, or e4? Is Nf3 just a blitz move, or can it be applyed to long games? I know some of the questions are stupid, and I know they are. But some explaination on why, it would help very much.
And on move 9, you said that "9. gxf3Double edged play. Black has better pawn structure. White has the two bishops."
Firstly, what does Double edged play mean? Does it mean both sides have chances, and both are beating the other in some way. But why is is that 2 bishops are good? Why can't a knight compare? Because it doesn't seem the position is garenteed to be open.

Wait, I take that back for now.

Just look at the position and decide yourself wether it is open or not.
1. Nf3 confuses many opponents and brings some people instantely out of their comfort zone. But in reality Nf3 can transpose into any opening, almost.
10. Bb5 seemed like a beautiful move. I replayed the move over and over, the move allowed an issolated doubled pawn, and on an open file, why was this move not pointed out by your analysis? Or did you just forget, or were in a hurry?

How to play blitz?
Here a lot of astonishing interesting games ( 5 minutes game), with diagrams analysis and comments:
The most interesting game of chess was played here in chess.com !!!!
It seems quite complicated to me.
Firstly, you need to figure out how fast you are going to play. are you going to play fast or slow? When your playing fast, you blunder pieces. Play too slow, and you run out of time. What is a good tempo?
Also, I find myself pondering which opening to play. Should I play what I usually play, or try to throw my opponent off guard?
And when do you lash out with your attack? Basically, to play good blitz, you need to attack. No positional play, no quiet games. Just attack. But I can never seem to figure out when is the right time to attack.
Also, how do you attack? Do you push your pawns towards the king? Make threats? Sacrifice pawns?
Now I understand that the answers to some of these questions depend on the position. But can you guys give me info on what to do in what position?
I am playing blitz to improve my attacks in long games, as well as generating ideas quickly, and playing in time pressure.
