Hey there! I'm really sorry to hear that you've been having issues with playing 30-minute games and getting those disconnects.
It looks like I just missed you online, but I'd love to help you try to fix this up! We've had some other concerned players who use Opera have similar issues, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the browser. So please send us a ticket to support@chess.com and ask for me. I'll be right here to assist!
Also, I can confirm @PineappleMcPineapple is not an employee account.

@Greta -- I have had the same issue with Mozilla Firefox. Disconnects and after a 10-12 second burp, I get a Game Abandoned message from your servers and another 0-1 loss carded. While not an everyday occurrence, it happens more than monthly in Live games---and it does not matter if I'm on my CenturyLink DSL connection or my Mediacom cable modem connection. There is something fishy about some javascript function that does not jive well with Live play... and I doubt it's fixed in the new Play scenario either.
I guess if you Live in a Pineapple Under the Sea 🍍, one can re-connect with impunity. But for me, it kicks me out all the same. There is no chance to reconnect or refresh the browser. The net-burp, once it happens, is 100% guaranteed to result in an Abandoned Game.
