Live Chess Challenges and Ratings

No one over 1200 is accepting my Live Chess Blitz challenges. Why? My current blitz rating is 900 and I have my challenge set from 900 to 1400.

Is there a simple formula for determining how many points a player could lose before accepting a challenge?

How many points could a 1400 rated player lose to a 900 rated player?

I did beat someone rated close to 1200 tonight, and that person's rating dropped by about 50 points, and I only gained 12 points. Would a 1400 rated player be risking about 100 points?  Thanks.

Are you sure you only gained 12 points?  I'm finding that really hard to understand/believe.

My mistake. It was 15 points.

I started at 860 and after the win came out with 875 (+15 points).

My opponent started at 1197 and after the loss came out with 1145 (-52 points).

So, what do you think the rating adjustment would be if I (900) beat a 1400 player? I'm itching to play some stronger players. The games are not that difficult right now, and I am training with over 2000 rated players in cc. Maybe I need to be patient and keep gaining a few points with each game until I hit 1200+.
