Its standars in live chess, and I'm glad chess.com finaly added this feature.
Live Chess Conditional Moves

Its been in live chess for a while. Believe they call it pre-move. It can add another edge. Great in forced moves, but risky(though fun) in other situations. If a player makes 5 moves in zero seconds in the opening, he is on pre-move auto pilot. Its fun to see if you can throw a wild card move in there to catch him out.
When i played the new live chess, i saw something akward. I di my move and before my opponent responded, I did an other move(it came in pink), and immediately after my opponent did his move, tha move i did came. I call this live chess conditional moves. I don't whether its a bug or a facility, but it really halps in bullet matches.
