I take it you are talking about live chess. Please refer to the multiple threads on this topic, basically the current version of live chess is flawed and a new version is in the process of construction.
Lousy connections
Well construct it fast please,I have lost too many games because of this and it is infuriating!!!
Fella, check the date for the OP. You've joined a conversation that finished 28 months ago.
The current version of Live Chess is pretty stable, if you have a decent internet connection and you are using an approved browser: Firefox or Chrome.
Hello. I use Firefox, but I don't get it how I lose on time. In most cases my clock is running like 9:50,after I'm allowed to move after the opponent's move I move for 5-10 seconds and then the clock shows 8:50,next move 7:50 etc, and it's getting really frustrating, lost many matches this way...and for example before the zeit-not I was 2:29 to the opponent's 8:30. How can you beat that??
I started with this website yesterday and have lost 4 games and won two and been cut off from the game by a break in the connection in every game today. Two of the four that I lost were lost because the connection was broken, One of the ones I won was because the opponent abandoned the game.
How can you expect people to play chess when your Internet connection is so bad that most of the games get upset by breaks in the connection?
Maybe i will come back if you get it together someday.
But right now it is nonsense. Regards, Danny Cunningham - Wanderer2
