My Chess is in Crisis

Hi Guys,

My chess is going through a crisis.

Recently, I have been losing so many games, I feel like I'm getting beat down. At one point, my form was +2-8=0. I have been losing to players 100 points below me, and its infuriating. I am just disgusted.

I am playing 15 plus 10 games, and I know this is a good time control to play. My blitz skills are not bad.

What doesn't make sense is that I have recently been working on endgames and I have found some cool tricks such as: say white has pawns on g5 and h6, black has pawns on g6 and h7, then white can play Bxg6, and h pawn will promote (assuming it can't be caught with say Rb8).

It's not an individual loss that is getting to me, its just the fact that I have been saturated with losses. Plus I am shedding rating points like there's no tomorrow.

I am definately taking a break from chess.

Thanks for reading.

Thank you for your analysis.

I will certainly bear this in mind when I next play against the kings indian. Rc1 will do two things - overprotect c3 knight and get rook off line of dark squared bishop.
