Guys. thanks so much for the new analysis function - chess.com just went up a few more notches in my book!

Now, is there a training page on here so that we learn how to show ideas (green, yellow, red squares and arrows, descriptive notation, etc)?  If you had that, I would vote you in as President!  :-) jk.

Thanks for the wonderful addition to a great site!

At the end of a live match, it gives you an opportunity to analyze the live game.

Thank you so much, Kohai!  This, to me, is one of the best things chess.com has came up with yet!  I like the green - I know playchess.com also offered yellow and red, and I don't know if that is soon in the works, but nevertheless, this is great!  I am so happy to finally see this feature.  Next question - can you save analysis on this site?  It may have been in the notes, as I glanced through quickly to find the part on arrows and squares.  I will look again later when I have more time.

This is a step in the right direction but not enough to prompt me to upgrade my account. If there was an analysis tool which allowed different colors, arrows, highlights and a few symbols like those available in SCID and if it could be saved like a FEN or posted into a comment box like a diagram then that would probably be worth upgrading my account. Below is a sample of what I would like to be able to do. This was done in SCID, but then I had to do a screen copy and paste it into a paint application and then crop and re-size and save it as a file and upload it which all takes a lot of time. And then if I forgot or omitted something or made a mistake, I would have to start the process all over.

Yeah, that is more towards the way it should ultimately be done.  I like the analysis function a lot!
