nobody is live on chess960

Can anybody let me know why am I not able to get any people live on chess960.... since a week?

I've not been able to find even a single 960 live player... not even with 3 minutes variant

Same for me. Don´t know what the problem is.

Check out for open seeks. 

There's no solution for the lack of 960 players; it just doesn't appeal to too many people. You also notice the same on lichess.org.

after chess960 world championship maybe more people will start playing it

I'm thinking there must be some bug.. I always used to find 960s before,.. come on there're 10000 players around playing live there should be someone playing 960

Go to open challenges. You will find some.

There are crazy house, king of the hill, 3+ check, standard, but not 960.. I'm telling you guys,, there's some bug.. we need to report

This is funny because I've been trying to play live 960 (3 min) a lot lately too, but it takes a long time to pair with an even opponent. Worse than that, most players on this forum claiming this have a rating relatively close to mine. 

(I'm only around 1700 USCF but live 960 is the variant I mess around with when I don't want to risk rating elsewhere) 

Perhaps the players on this forum could just send friend requests to others on this forum and challenge them to games. That way it is easy to tell if you might get a challenge accepted soon (since you can view when "friends" are online via "profile").

I'm 1550... would you like to risk your rating against me then ?

I have the exact same problem like avinashsp93. I used to play chess960 on a regular basis at chess.com. There has always been some 960 challenges. Now (at least for me) it is not possible anymore. Like avinashsp93 I can find challenges for 3check, crazyhouse and king of the hill but not for chess960.

Guys please report this as a bug to chess.com ... I think our challenges are not being displayed in the open challenges for chess960 variant.

It is not my problem! Who cares!

It's a downward spiral.  I would love to play live Chess960 with you.  It's one of my favorite variants but I'm not looking for matches because I can also not find anyone so I stop looking.  It is a "Need a crowd to make a crowd" sort of conundrum.
