nobody is live on chess960

My guess is that most 960 players are playing the 960 Arenas when they are running and not putting out random seeks. There are currently almost 100 players in the event starting in 45 minutes.

I've not been able to find even a single 960 live player... not even with 3 minutes variant
maybe nobody wants to play chess960 at 3|0. It's a horrible time control anyway
No, You don't see 960 at all in the open challenges. Try looking at it once, you see all the other variants except 960. It should pop up at least once. I'm sure most of them would love to play that. I'd seen it before.

Guys please report this as a bug to chess.com ... I think our challenges are not being displayed in the open challenges for chess960 variant.

Chess 960 is my favourite variant if I had to choose between FIDE chess and chess 960. And yes, in the open seeks in live there are sometimes not many 960 seeks.

I'm thinking there must be some bug.. I always used to find 960s before,.. come on there're 10000 players around playing live there should be someone playing 960

I've not been able to find even a single 960 live player... not even with 3 minutes variant

Like me, probably people do not know what 960 game play is so do not play it. what / how do you play it anyway ??

When you start your normal seek, you just click the chessboard to the right of where you select your time control, and then there is a drop down for all the standard variations of chess.
You can also choose it from play -> variants menu, but there are a lot less people looking for 960 variants there than from the main seek. The only reason to play it from the variant menu is that they don't do that "make an opening move in 15 seconds" deal they do in the main seek.
It's a downward spiral. I would love to play live Chess960 with you. It's one of my favorite variants but I'm not looking for matches because I can also not find anyone so I stop looking. It is a "Need a crowd to make a crowd" sort of conundrum.
I've reported anyways. if more guys can raise this issue, it could be solved sooner.
