Online USCF ratings vs. Regular USCF ratings

How severely inflated/deflated are the "online" ratings in comparison to the OTB regular ratings? I personally believe them to be deflated somewhat due to the fact that floors do not exist and the pool is primarily provisional currently.

This question has been asked repeatedly. In fact, you asked it yourself earlier this year- http://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/chesscom-blitz-vs-over-the-board-uscf-rating

The long and short of it is that you cannot directly compare the ratings here, which are primarily blitz and shorter, and have a lot of other unmentionable problems, to over the board ratings, which are longer time controls.

Notmtwain, this is the first time I've seen this question asked here.

I don't know, but I'm curious to see what experience others have, or if USCF has released any data on this.

Yes, I haven't seen this particular combination queried. It does make some sense.

But there aren't any special ratings just for the online USCF games as far as I know. Those games would simply rated as part of a player's standard chess ratings here.
