Overtime Rule Proposition

If anyone's played blitz long enough they've had a game where they were up 2 seconds on the clock and started shuffling their king around the back or started sacrificing pieces for surprise checks to win on time. This isn't chess... My idea is if both players have less than 5% of their starting time and 1 player looses on time, that player regains 5% of their clock. If that player runs out of time again he looses, and if he wins, the game is drawn. The other player will have his original remaining time (no extra 5%) and if he wins, he wins, and if he runs out of time, the game is drawn. This would be more fair than it is now, and if it were not implemented in the standard rules it would be an interesting option for a custom match.

Just play with increment. That's kind of what it is for.
