This person logged into mt network which was picked up by McAfee. I waited and then say him move a piece of mine. I just exited the program. Please keep an eye on him.

Do you have a screenshot of the alert mcAfee gave you for this?

When the piece moved, did the square show a red/pink color at any time?

Avatar of HMAIII50

No the squares did not change color red or pink. The party I mentioned moved the piece. This is not a problem for me but it is a problem for chess.com to remain viable. I don't have screen capture SW but it happened. I do have a McAfee history and will look at that. In the mean time you might want to think of the canary in the mineshaft. Yes Red China.

Red China? I don't get the reference here.

I see... I thought that might have been what he meant, but I wasn't sure.

The Red China comment came from another person in the conversation thread. McAfee is actually good but no protection is perfect. Hacking isn't only State sponsered.

How often do you get internet security warnings at the start of your chess.com games? and have a piece move.

Must be the NSA , they spy on almost every country (person) in the world. Even those who are their allies , nice to have good friends.

Yeah, sure.

Instead of staying as secret as possible, they try to modify the outcome of a chess.com ~1000 rated game. It's vital for America's diplomatic interests.

People with the ability to break into a computer are rarely stupid.

People who blame mouse slips on hackers, on the other hand...
