My Phantom took 4 years to be delivered to my home in Rustenburg, North West Province, South Africa. I was very excited to get it all up and running and played a few games at level 4. At first, Phantom congratulted me on winning all my games. BUT, the first time I moved to level 5, I started having problems with Phantom failing to register a move properly. Typically, I could make a move, (ensuring that I was not in check or any other funnies) and my iPhone would show me the dreaded flashing piece, indicating there was a problem. The manual says you can take back the move by putting the pieces in their original places and carry on again. However, this did not solve the problem. In fact, the problem has slowly worsened.
Now, every game I try to play usually ends up with the "Flashing Syndrome story" (FSS). Especially in the End Game, it seems to battle even more to register the moves. I have tried RECALIBRATING, moving pieces back by five moves, making the moves very slowly, even giving up and restarting the game from scratch - only to get the same FSS again and again. According to many other players, it turns out I am not the only one with FSS problems. I thimk it is the pieces at fault here. I noticed that the FSS usually involves Knights and Pawns in particular.
Are there any suggestions out there or did I waste my 4 year waiting time and the expense involved especially with ZAR exchange which puts One Dollar at 20 Rands.

Right... this is a recurring issue for me; I thought it was fixed but has now happened again. I've just lost back to back games due to Live Chess making moves for me. By which I mean my opponent makes a move, then suddenly one of my pieces instantly jumps to a square without me getting a look in at the chessboard. It's happened two and a half times in the past week (the half being where my bishop flickered to a square and back due to being an illegal move on account of my opponent giving check). I do not, and never have, pre-move enabled, and I'm really getting fed up of the issue.
