Play live 10 minute game with an on-line friend

Hi,

 

Is it possible to play a live 10 minute game  with a friend IF I know my friend is on-line? So, if I know my friend is on-line can I invite that person to a blitz game?

Yes, but you both have to be in the Live chess interface at the same time to do it.

I cant get the time control I want it keeps going back to 3 minutes what do I do?
