points awarded

how is it that when i lose a game points are deducted but when I win or draw, no points are awarded?

Were the games you won unrated? Did your opponent time out in a game that was fewer than 4 moves? Both of those would cause the behavior you described.

Thank you for advice.Could you advice me how to get more scores in points,please.I am really enjoing chess but i cant understand how players who start participate later than me already have about 2000 points?!I only play a month though

Getting more points is simple... win games. Thats it. The first few games make a HUGE difference, and if you beat good players in your first few games, your rating will go up fast.
