Premoves are EVIL🫥
Premoves are evil. They are not something possible on OTB; ergo they are not any part of chess. It's an innovation that has no place in chess. It's the thin end of the wedge...they'll be introducing the idea of promoted pices having super-powers next, or , there being some random square on the board being a portal to any other square. It won't end well!

I lol'd

In OTB chess, it's also impossible to castle by only moving your king, without touching your rook. So it's also "evil", and "has no place in chess", right?
The second part of your rant is even more insane, so let's not talk about that.

MY PRE MOVES FEATURE HAVEN'T WORKED FOR 1/2 A YEAR.
Have you tried turning premoves on again?
I mean technically you moved before it was your turn so taking 0 seconds just makes sense. Sure you could argue against it, but logically speaking it should take 0 seconds, like it does on Lichess.
Actually, human reaction time is 0.3 seconds, so, like the NBA does on the last shot of the game, to be "accurate", 0.3 seconds should be the minimum amount of time allowed for "human action" to take place. That's already faster than most chess players could physically react to a move OTB, never mind making the reply move cleanly.
Personally I think it should be 0.5 seconds. Kills hyperbullet outright, but...far more realistic.

But this isn't OTB chess. It's not meant to be. People need to accept that online chess is different, and it's more fun and simpler. Don't try to make online chess what it isn't, because it's a beauty as it is. These "human reactions" and "realistic OTB times" don't matter one bit because this isn't OTB chess, and that's not a problem, because that's not what this is meant to be.

If that is your outlook, then the delay should be 0.0 ...either way, 0.1 is not the best value.

I already stated that I believe it should be 0.0. 0.1 is just chesscom making it so that games don't take forever, other than that there's no reasoning behind it.
