Rating Changes

Hey there, can anyone give me a heads up on why sometimes there are no changes in ratings after a win or loss? At first I thought maybe it depended on whether the game was a close match or not but I cant seem to figure it out.

If the difference in rating difference is too large, there is no change in rating. Don't know the exact difference but thinks its a few hundred points.

The games this happens in are fairly close regarding ratings differences (well within a few hundred points) so doesnt sound like it would be that, thanks anyways.
