RATS!

Live chess to me is so stupid, I was so close to beating my oponite, and I was disconected from de server, I think dat we should get our ratings back if we are disconected, after all, I belive dat you earn our ratings, it's unfair to loose ratings based on a disconection. Tell me what you think.

If people didn't lose games, and rating, as a result of a disconnect then we'd see rampant abuse of this fact in the form of people intentionally disconnecting in lost positions to avoid the loss.

Agreed. i hate being disconnected, but live chess isn't stupid. i myself like it a lot, and though being disconnected is annoying, just deal with it. it doesn't happen everytime. only once in a while.

this should be a non-issue in 10 days or less.

Wow... live chess 2 looms ever closer... I can already see the disappointment... sorry Erik and team, I'm sure it will be excellent, but it has happened for decades in the entertainment industry... nothing ever lives up to the hype!

some people may not like live chess 2 as much, but those are the people who are there for reasons other than playing chess :)

I have a very small screen. Please make the interface smaller. As it is now, I cannot see all the windows at once; they hide undernieth each other.

Disconnects have been an issue with me as well, especially when I use the pre-move feature. I understand this is to be resolved with the new version though. Cool.

Are you able to play turn based effectively here with your resolution?

It is interesting that disconnects do reduce your rating but remember you are what you are as far as rating is concerned and so playing a lower rated person will increase your rating in the long run. We after all are subject to this same insanity called disconnected.
