I was playing a 10min Blitz game and I was ONE move checkmate. The opponent had TEN seconds to make his move. I was praying Plzz let me win (since I had lost the three previous games I played) and guess what, I actually won!!!

The reason I made this post was this website sometimes has glitches that can ruin your game.

Most likely, this person lost because the chessboard wouldn't respond.

My reasoning: Have a button that the winners can use to "Give" the ranking back to the other player. Off course this wouldn't work all the time, but it would definitely help.

I see from your game that you meant to say "I was ONE move away from being checkmate(d).

It's nice that you feel badly for your opponent but this stuff will happen to you too. It's really just part of the game here.

I personally think its unfair if you win for bad reasons

You can choose to be a good or bad person

Two buttons, respectively called "offer draw" and "resign", cover most of those possibilities.

If you think your win here was just fair use of the clock, just keep the points. If you think playing on the game was insulting when you were clearly losing, just resign. If you feel bad about winning on time in such positions, you can resign or offer the draw.

You only had four games. Three losses and one win. It wasn't too tough to figure out which one you were talking about.

But I mean after the game has finished.

I mean you can't give ranking points back after the game has ended.
