Time jerk and bug

So I played a 10min blitz:

the position is clearly a draw so I make an offer to my opponent which he refuses.

He starts making useless moves to let my clock run out of time before his. He has more time but I use pre moves and he doesn't so he is loosing more time and realizes he will loose.

He stops playing for around 20s and then make a move and my clock passes from more than 10s to 0, making him win.

I am kind of mad against him and this bug, is there anything I can do?

Unfortunately not. The same thing has happened to me numerous times (especially in bullet), but people will say it is just a coincidence combined with lag even though there was no lag before the "coincidence" happened.

damn...

this is the first time it happens to me (the bug, not an opponent who keeps on playing even if it is a clear draw), hope it won't happen again
