Timeout

Does anyone know how long the timer is until the server aborts a game? I have ran into numerous games where I make a move and my opponent just sits there... Using this game (pic below) as an example, I waited for 2+ minutes until I clicked abort... This seems way to long to have to wait... What am I doing wrong?

On the other side, on my last game (blame1925) after i played queen and did a + my clock remained running against me and I couldn't play again... stuck. And the game was rated, I lost almost 70 points... That's very frustrating...

I'm playing with chesscom app on android.

Are you guys using a computer, smart phone or etc.

I play using a computer and i only have had one type of problem. My oppoent would abort now started games and i get credited for it. So after a couple times i have wait 5 minutes to play my next game as a punishment. ??

Other than this i have no problems. As i play friends and can get quick games without any problems.

Using android app chesscom play & learn , or even sometimes with android browser, i guess it is the rub, I should test on linux browser, or maybe worse : it's iexplorer windows site optimisation...

Whatever, for me playing lightning or 5 is impossible (10 is hard work...).

Standard games will not have an auto abort feature. The clock now starts to automatically count down once the game starts.
