i am just sarting myself and cant figure out how to move the pieces!

This problem started about 2 months ago and it happens about 9 out of 10 times I try to play in live mode.
When I open the screen with the chessboard in live mode the screen usually shifts downwards a bit. After that I'm unable to start a new game, because I'm not allowed to choose an opponent from the board (system does not react when I click a green dot).
If I press the "start game" button and someone else chooses me instead, the game starts. However I'm unable to move any piece.
I use W7 and google chrome.
Any ideas welcomed.
