verry laggy animation on chess.com app for iPhone, on iPhone 4

First, I'd like to thank you for the wonderful chess app that you have made for the iPhone.  It is overall a superb app, and a pleasure to use.

I do have one issue with it, on my iPhone4.  I use the "play online" mode games (basically, correspondence chess).  The animation for pieces moving is extremely laggy - so much so that it takes about 3 seconds for a single move animation to complete.  This makes it very frustrating to review the last few moves of a game that I haven't looked at in a while.  I wish there was an option to simply turn off move animation - just have the highlight squares showing where the piece moved from/to.  I noticed in the settings that there is an option to turn off the square highlighting for moves, but no option to instead eliminate the animation.  

Please help!

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app at all? Sometimes that will help to "refresh" the app cache a bit. 

Haven't tried that.  I'll give that a shot, thanks!
