one single win is not a proof I aM better or less good. any reason can make me win accidently: a phone call, a daft mouse move.. we need at least 2 wins. If I reject rematch that meams I dont appreciate m'y opponent:too slow, use to stay behind a wall..
What does mean, when a player refuse to rematch ?

I just want to get your point of view about this situation.
What does mean, when a player refuses to rematch on rated game ?
I ask this question because 97% of players on chess.com refuse to rematch.
So what does at mean ?
It doesn't necessarily mean anything. I am normally spent mentally after I finish a game in live chess. I prefer to play turn based games.
If I don't want a rematch, it doesn't necessarily mean a thing. I may have too many games going. I might not feel focused enough on chess in general to want to take on another game at the time. I might be affraid that I will lose to you. I might want a better challenge. I might not have liked you. You might not have liked me. The reasons are too many to speculate over. I am willing to bet, it is almost never personal, just business, in the chessic sense.

It means that they don't want to rematch.

lol thanks

it means that the whole dam world hates you and want you to quit chess.
it means that you are the only bum without a job....
etc.

I never play the same opponent twice unless it's a friend. I have a couple reasons. One-it's impractical. You won't have to do that in tournaments and you won't learn anything other than how to win against his specific style. Two-I don't usually like playing games in quick succession and I often want to look over games. I may have ticked off a guy a few minutes ago though because I beat him in seven moves after he blundered and I declined his rematch. I wanted to look at the opening and take a momentary break, if not longer.

Give me a rematch game
You insufferable fool
You run away scared . . . so lame
I'd take you to school.
Others can say this, my game does not meet the standard.

Can pears go fuzz?
Why I never turn down a re-match..wouldn't think of it..even if I cud think...Nope not me!, not in a million years..Ain't in me ta' turn down nuth'in..Nope never, never had, never will..Shows bad character, no backbone I declare!
Nope, not me!

Perhaps they found the game not satisfying enough so figure their chances are better with the next random opponent.

Chess is like life. Life is not fair. Therefore, the trick is just learn to live with it. Abe Lincoln said, "If you look for the good in people, you will surely find it." Click on "open seek" and find another game. Life is too short and time is precious. Share what you enjoy with others and make the world brighter for those who may not have had the chance to play with you before. We all learn from each new encounter.
I will accept a rematch if it was an especially sharp game and win or lose, playing with that opponent strengthens my chess. However if it's an annoying match with undue delay and weird disjointed play (very common at my low level) than I won't rematch. Why would you want to play a boring or irritating game twice? Also I never request rematches, I'd rather have a break and analyze the previous game.
