more i think about it more i'm sure that i was muted for using the word "ape"....and, beleive it or not, the conversation was about evolution, i am not joking....how on earth can "ape" be on list of swear words... and who knows what else did they put on "swear" list here...cow?...i bet the "cow" gets you muted and "holly cow" gets you banned.... and brings FBI to your door...lol!

If you're going to use a word with a double meaning, like rn0nk€y, make sure you put a space/full stop in or replace a letter with a number/symbol. Or deliberatly mispel it. Bypassing the filter can get you a harsher punishment if you are actually using the word as a swearword/insult, however.

monkey is not a word with "double meaning"...and this is THE point of this thread...monkey is not a word with "double meaning" and i suspect that there are more words like that, illegally banned by this web site, and therefore crippling vocabulary and subsequenlty stiffling the thought process .... making it difficult for people to chat....and when i say "illegally"i mean exactly that...society for prevention of cruelty to animals could rightfully claim that threating "monkey" as a "swear word" is insult to monkeys, our closest relatives, very intelligent and entertaining animals...every time i go to zoo i stop in front of chimpanzee cage and i can't stop wondering if there is a way to free my brother there....same i feel about this funny (and let me repeat: illegal!) rule here.

It DOES have a double meaning, it is used as a racist insult to black people.

ok, folks, we are getting somewhere now....seems like ANIMALS are banned here, or SOME ANIMALS....in my case it was "ape" and "monkey" (though it was NOT used as insult...conversation was about evolution!) and in the case if mr. pstgh it was some other animal...i dont know which one.... but perhaps we can contact the society for prevention of cruelty to animals? implicitly claiming that word depicting animals are "rude" is akin to psychological war on animals, undeclared and unilaterally waged by chess.com
