What is wrong with live?

I lose on time and lose and lose and lose and lose...

I thought the site was supposed to be using timeseal?  If it is, it sure doesn't feel like it.  It feels like crap!

Man, the old interface was Soooooooooooooooooo much better to play with.  This one is just so terrible.  Lag lag lag lag.   All day all night.  all day all night.

Do something about it!  FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

I'm using a Win7 i7 6800k 65GB RAM GTX 1080ti  512GB M.2  and a 150/15 connection HARDWIRED!

Chrome blows.  FF Quantum Blows a little less but still blows.  The site just blows blows and is ugly and slow as sin.  FIX THE LAG AT LEAST!

Come on.  We all know the problem.  It's the bloody ads.  You spend 2K on a computer but won't fork up the bucks to eliminate ads?  False economy, my brother....IMHO...LMAO

On another subject, once again...

Timeseal?  Is the site using it?  If not, we should be. 

Lag is killing us. 

Nelson is NOT a troll. He's a nice guy who plays chess, not bullet chess. Deal with it and move on.

I know the site only allows a certain amount of lag in calculation how much time a move actually took, so I do not believe they are using timeseal (or something equivalent). The help articles discuss is some and there is one, on clock changes, that say they only allow live games if a connection has 2 seconds or less of lag.

I can't say if the following are 100% accurate anymore; I seem to recall seeing a post by @erik a few months back regarding some changes to lag timing, but don't have the link right off.

Thank you Martin.  That isn't particularly helpful as without TIMESEAL we cannot play adequately.

Just consider this a REQUEST to have TIMESEAL instituted so that ALL live games become fair and equitable.  Please and thanks.

I tried finding more information but kept running into old articles. Timeseal was brought up on a number of topics and erik made some comments that allowing too much lag, which the timeseal process would do, would make some games last a lot longer than the process being used.

Can't say the site won't change their methods at some point, but from reading the old topics it doesn't seem likely.

Based on those old topics, I think it unlikely that is a change that will be made, but anything is possible.
