Hey Chess.com players! Today I am posting a interesting topic on how to find out what your REAL Live Chess rating is.
Here's how you do it:
1. Play an easy person (rating around 725-925) in Live Chess starting with the time at 1:00.
2. Play another easy person (rating around 725-925) with the time at 5:00.
Note: Keep track of the things that happen in these games. (Ex: If you lost, if you won, if it was a draw, what your rating was after that game, ect.)
3. Go on until you meet the max time. After you finish that, you look at your records and see all the thing you wrote down. It would really help if you put down the rating before and after the game you played.
4. Put all the things together, and count the total win, lost, and draw ratings. Then, take another piece of paper (or another of whatever your using to keep track) and keep track of things all over again, this time a higher rating (rating around 1025-1425).
5. Do the steps before in steps 1-4, playing higher times with every person. Keep track of the games each time you play, like before.
6. After you finish all of that, you only have to do it ONE more time. This time, repeat the steps 1-4 with the rating at 1524-2024.
7. Finally, after you finish ALL of that, put all you ratings together, couting the rating you lost, won, and drawed.
Your final rating you came up with is your REAL rating, now.
But!: Like I said in the "Note:" below, DO NOT count the time you lost on time. Do it for the time you won oncheckmate.
Note: DO NOT count the times you lost off of time. Or the wins. Or the draws. JUST the times you won, lost, or drawed off of strategy by checkmate.
And that's it! Please try this trick to get your real Live Chess Rating correct!
Oh, and PLEASE leave feedback to me if it works.
Thanks!
I died laughing
