I have bottom of the barrel internet and i dont have any issues.
been having the problem for a few weeks, just started out of nowhere, i use chrome and tried it on edge and it worked perfectly, must be a bug in chrome
May I ask if anyone has found a solution to this problem? My family is experiencing the same problem on two chromebooks. We receive "Please wait, it's taking longer than usual to connect" when we try to access 14-day games or list of current/upcoming tournaments.

just go to setting of your browser and find clear data...then just clear all reminding cache. and it will be fixed 100%.

I think the error shows up both with server-side issues and client-side as well.
I suggest crying.
It doesn't help the situation, but it makes me feel better when I lose because of connection problems

also am able to leave comments, show my next work is online and working with a 10 mbps download speed should work just fine.

Today I was playing a Crazyhouse game where I was in a winning position, but then I suddenly disconnected. When I reloaded the page, it said "Please wait, it's taking longer than usual to connect." I usually have excellent connection, so can someone explain to me what's going on with the chess.com servers?
