Where to find OTB Tournaments?

So, I've been playing in the scholastic league so far. But now that I finished school, I'm not really sure where I can play in person. I mean, chess.com is all well and good, but it's so fun when you get to be around people and record moves down.

I've tried using the USCF website, but I don't know how to navigate it and I'm not looking to play for money (which is what most tournaments there SEEM to be for).

Tha US Chess site also has a clubs page, so you can find OTB clubs that may be close to you.

Try visiting the website of a local club instead of uscf

Local clubs and groups who organize chess events are good. They are good for playing different types of players and meeting different players from various backgrounds. Money usually isn't a priority in this case.

look up " [ whatever state you are in ] chess "
Most states have a chess website with a list of tournaments

As you live in Albania, look for tournaments in Europe.

They play for money, so as to attract strong players.

Otherwise look at the site of your national federation where chess clubs are near you.
